Family Fun in Waterford Michigan

Waterford's Park It Family Fun Night

School’s out and the whole brood is back together again. It’s nice to have the kiddos around for the summer, but keeping those short attention spans occupied can be a costly challenge. Fortunately, fun for all is free for the taking at Waterford’s Park It Family Fun Night.

Free Family Fun at Waterford Park in Waterford, Michigan

Scheduled for Tuesday, July 23rd, Waterford’s Park It Family Fun Night event takes place at beautiful Hess-Hathaway Park. The cool, sponsor-funded event offers a little something for everyone, including live music, kid’s activities, giveaways and a movie under the stars. It’s a great opportunity for some quality time with the family and a chance to get more involved in your community.

The party gets under way at 6 p.m.; be there by 6:30 p.m. to enjoy the outdoor concert (entertainment to be announced). Enjoy the music, activities, and vendors until about 8 p.m., then settle in for the grand finale—a family-rated movie (title TBA) presented on a giant LED video screen under the stars. Add it all up, and you’ve got a full night of family fun without spending a dime!

Free Activities at Hess-Hathaway Park

Waterford’s Park It Family Fun Night is destined to be a blast, but you don’t need an occasion to visit Hess-Hathaway Park. The park is open daily (10 a.m. to 8 p.m.) during the summer (April 16-October 14), and it offers tons of opportunities for free family fun. A visit to the park is also a great way to keep the whole family active.
